Baked Feta with Smoked Olives
Our new favourite go-to dinner party appetiser! Enjoy the rich, savoury taste of the Baked Feta paired with the smokiness of the Olives and the freshness of the Tomatoes and Herbs.
INGREDIENTS:
1 block of feta cheese
Manuka Wood Smoked Olives
Truffle oil
Fresh tomatoes, sliced
Sundried tomatoes, chopped
Fresh thyme
Fresh rosemary
Sourdough bread, sliced and toasted
METHOD:
1. Preheat the oven to 175'C
2. Place the block of feta on a lined baking tray
3. Scatter the Manuka Smoked Olives around the feta (don't forget to pour the extra olive oil from the olive pack over the feta)
4. Generously drizzle truffle oil over the feta and olives
5. Add chopped fresh and sundried tomatoes to the baking tray
6. Sprinkle with thyme and top with a sprig of fresh rosemary
8. Place the in oven and bake for 10-15mins, or until the cheese is soft and the tomatoes have softened
8. While the feta is baking, toast some sourdough slices
9. Remove the baking tray from the oven and add the toasted sourdough to the dish
10. Best served straight from the oven, so dig in and enjoy!
