Frequently asked questions

How should I store the nuts?

Reseal the packet and store it somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight and heat. This will help preserve their freshness, flavour and crunch.

What do Native Herb Mixed Nuts taste like?

They’re savoury, aromatic and distinctly Australasian. Kawakawa brings an earthy, gently peppery character, while lemon myrtle provides a fresh citrus lift. The herbs complement the natural richness of the nuts without overpowering them.

What do Maple Chilli Cashews taste like?

They combine the natural creaminess of cashews with maple sweetness and a warming chilli finish. You’ll taste the sweet maple first, followed by a savoury chilli kick that keeps each handful interesting.

How spicy are the Maple Chilli Cashews?

They have a noticeable chilli warmth, but the maple balances the heat and prevents it from becoming overwhelming. They’re designed to deliver a satisfying sweet-and-spicy flavour rather than an extreme chilli burn.

What do Mānuka Honey Macadamias taste like?

They combine rich, buttery macadamias with the distinctive sweetness of mānuka honey. The result is indulgent and sweet without losing the natural flavour and crunch of the macadamias.

What do Roast Salt Macadamias taste like?

Simple, rich and satisfying. Roasting brings out the naturally buttery flavour of the macadamias, while a touch of salt provides a clean savoury finish.

Are Kiwi Artisan gourmet nuts good for a grazing platter?

Absolutely. they're one of the most popular additions to a grazing board. The flavour variety means they pair well alongside cheese, olives, and charcuterie, and the unique combinations (like Kawakawa and Lemon Myrtle) give any platter a point of difference. Customers also frequently use them as a standalone gift or add them to a gift box alongside the truffle and olive ranges. With both sweet and savoury flavours available, there’s an option for almost every taste.

What is the best way to serve your gourmet nuts?

Enjoy them straight from the packet, serve them in bowls for entertaining, or add them to a grazing platter alongside cheese, crackers, dried fruit, olives and dips.

What flavoured gourmet nuts does Kiwi Artisan make?

The Kiwi Artisan gourmet nut range includes 4 delicious flavours. Choose Roast Salt Macadamias if you prefer something simple and savoury, Native Herb Mixed Nuts for an aromatic herb flavour, Maple Chilli Cashews for sweet heat, or Mānuka Honey Macadamias when you’re craving something sweeter.

Are the nuts suitable for everyday snacking?

Yes. They’re ready to eat straight from the packet, making them an easy option for afternoon snacking, entertaining or keeping on hand when you want something with plenty of flavour and crunch.

Can I use the nuts in recipes?

Definitely. Savoury flavours can be chopped and scattered over salads, roasted vegetables or grain bowls, while sweeter flavours work well with yoghurt, desserts and baking. They’re also delicious crushed and used as a crunchy topping.
